Corporate Thanksgiving gifting can seem straightforward until the recipient list starts growing. Sending a thoughtful basket to a few clients is one thing. Coordinating dozens of gifts for employees, clients, and business partners across several provinces requires much more planning, particularly when delivery dates, budgets, dietary preferences, and personalisation all need to be considered.
Thanksgiving can also be an excellent time for businesses to show appreciation before the busy holiday season begins. A well-chosen gourmet basket gives recipients something they can enjoy and share, while thoughtful presentation and a personalised message can make the gesture feel more meaningful. With an organised approach to ordering, customisation, and delivery, bulk Thanksgiving gifting can be both efficient for the business and genuinely appreciated by the people receiving it.
Most companies pile their gifting budget into December. That means your clients and employees are getting flooded with holiday packages all at once, yours included.
Thanksgiving is quieter. A well-timed basket in early October lands when nobody else is sending one. It reads as thoughtful rather than obligatory, and your brand sticks.
There's also a practical argument: lead times are shorter in October than December, and carrier networks aren't yet congested. If you want your gift to arrive in good shape, Thanksgiving is genuinely the better window.
The short answer is: food that feels seasonal without being gimmicky.
Artisan crackers, premium nuts, handcrafted caramel popcorn, Canadian-made charcuterie and jerky from brands like The Great Canadian Meat Company, chocolate truffles, and a bottle of wine or a non-alcoholic alternative. That combination works because it's shareable. One basket can feed a small team at a client's office, which means your gift gets more exposure, not just a quick "thanks" and into a drawer.
For employee-facing baskets, think about what someone actually wants to bring home to their family on Thanksgiving weekend. Maple popcorn, Hardbite chips, a tin of shortbread, some premium dried fruit and nuts. Comfort food, basically. Things that disappear happily at a dinner table.
What doesn't work: overly themed packaging with cartoon turkeys, anything too fragile for shipping, and single-serving items in a basket meant for a household. If you're sending to someone's home address, the basket should feel generous enough to share.
We don't have a minimum order quantity for bulk, but the process is different from placing individual orders through the website.
For orders of 10 or more baskets, we recommend using our bulk order form. You download it, fill in your recipient list, basket preferences, and any customization requests, then email it back to the address on the form. Our team reviews it and gets back to you with confirmation and a quote. It's the most efficient way to handle a large order because it lets us coordinate assembly, packaging, and delivery scheduling all at once rather than processing dozens of individual transactions.
You can download the bulk order form. The earlier you submit, the more flexibility you have on delivery dates. For Thanksgiving, we'd suggest getting your order in by late September at the latest.
Every basket in a bulk order can include your company's branding. Custom ribbon, branded packaging inserts, your logo on the box. It's a common request from corporate clients, especially for client appreciation sends where the basket is also doing marketing work.
Want to upgrade the wine to a higher-end bottle? You can do that by paying the price difference on any basket. Need to add a premium cheese board or a box of Belgian chocolate truffles to certain recipients? Also straightforward. What you can't do is remove items from a basket or swap one product for an equal-value alternative. The baskets are built around specific combinations, and changing that changes the balance of the whole thing. If you want complete control over every single item, building a custom basket from scratch is the better route.
A lot of our corporate clients use a mix: a standard basket as the base for most recipients, with upgrades for senior clients or executives. That's a sensible approach and one we can accommodate easily in a bulk order.
This is where a lot of bulk orders run into trouble, so let's be specific.
Toronto and the GTA: Same-day delivery is available seven days a week through our own local delivery team. If your head office is in Toronto and you want baskets at your office before the long weekend, that's easy to arrange with short notice.
Ontario and Quebec: Next-business-day delivery is the standard speed. You don't need to select a special shipping option, that's just how it works. Plan your send date accordingly so baskets arrive before the Friday before Thanksgiving weekend, not on it.
Alberta, BC, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and the Atlantic provinces: Next-business-day delivery is available via UPS, selected at checkout. Business days only, Monday through Friday. UPS doesn't deliver on weekends in most markets, so if you're targeting a Thursday arrival, the order needs to ship by Wednesday at the latest. Every recipient gets a UPS tracking number once their basket ships.
For bulk orders with recipients spread across multiple provinces, we coordinate delivery scheduling as part of the order process. You don't need to figure out the logistics yourself.
Our corporate gift baskets start at $49.99. Most popular corporate picks fall between $99 and $199, which is a comfortable budget for client appreciation and employee recognition. Premium builds with upgraded wine or luxury extras run $200 and up.
For Thanksgiving specifically, the $99 to $149 range tends to hit the right note. Generous enough to feel meaningful, appropriate for a professional relationship. If you're sending to senior clients or C-suite contacts, $150 to $200 is where most of our corporate clients land.
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and delivery speed. For bulk orders processed through the form, shipping costs are included in your quote.
Order early. Seriously. We hand-assemble every basket the day it ships, which means our capacity is real and finite. October fills up faster than people expect because we're also handling early holiday corporate orders at the same time.
Check your recipient list for dietary restrictions before you order. Not after. If a significant portion of your team keeps halal, kosher, or is vegetarian, flag that when you submit the bulk form so we can build accordingly.
Confirm delivery addresses. Returned baskets because of wrong addresses are more common in bulk orders than individual ones, and they cost time and money to reship. A quick email to your recipients asking them to confirm their address isn't awkward, it's just practical.
If Thanksgiving is the start of your Q4 gifting calendar, it's worth browsing our Thanksgiving gift basket collection for ideas, and bookmarking our Christmas gift baskets for what comes next. A lot of our corporate clients place both orders at the same time in September, which takes the whole thing off the to-do list in one shot.
A successful corporate Thanksgiving gifting program comes down to planning the details before the holiday rush begins. Establish a budget, review your recipient list carefully, consider dietary preferences, decide where customisation is useful, and allow enough time to coordinate deliveries across different provinces. Starting early gives businesses far more flexibility and reduces the pressure that comes with last-minute orders.
The goal is not simply to send a large number of baskets. It is to make each recipient feel recognised and appreciated. A carefully selected gourmet gift, accompanied by a thoughtful message and delivered at the right time, can turn a bulk corporate order into a meaningful Thanksgiving gesture for employees, clients, and business partners.
For orders of 10 or more baskets, we recommend submitting your bulk order form by late September. That gives us time to confirm your order, coordinate assembly, and schedule delivery so everything arrives before the long weekend. Orders placed in early October can still be accommodated depending on volume, but the earlier you're in, the more flexibility you have on dates.
Yes. You can mix basket types within a single order, different price points, different contents, some with wine and some without. Just note your preferences in the bulk order form and we'll coordinate from there.
Every basket includes a free printed card message. For bulk orders, you can include a single company message that goes on all baskets, or different messages for different recipients. Just specify in the order form. Cards are printed, not handwritten, so the text should be clean and concise.
